Job-Skills Training

DeConstruction Services, LLC occasionally is able to offer job skills training for young people.  We have worked closely with the DC Earth Conservation Corps (ECC) in training its workers in the deconstruction process, disassembly procedures, uses of appropriate tools and power equipment, stacking salvaged product, preparing products for donation, and proper truck loading techniques.  The trainees also receive job readiness exposure by becoming acquainted with punctuality, safety precautions, following supervisory instructions, cooperation with fellow workers, and the responsibility of completing an assigned task within time allotted by their supervisor.

For more information, contact the Earth Conservation Corps by telephone (202/479-6710),  email (glen@ecc1.org) or at their website www.ecc1.org
