Whole House
Defined as the disassembly of an entire residential structure
down to the masonry cinder block foundation walls and basement
concrete slab or crawl space.
Major Renovation Defined as the
coordinated and selective deconstruction of those portions of a
residential structure impacted by a major renovation being
otherwise performed by a general contractor.
Skim
Defined as the selective salvaging of some of the highest
quality components of a residential structure in cases where the
owner has already signed a traditional demolition contract or
where there are not enough good quality items in the structure
to financially justify a “whole house” deconstruction approach.
